Planning a Hen Do in Bath - How About a Hen Do Retreat?
Updated: Aug 2

With levels of burnout, stress and anxiety on the rise, why wouldn’t you want to give your hen & her mates an opportunity to relax and destress?
Mental Health Foundation stated that 74% of the UK are ‘overwhelmed or unable to cope’ at some point in the past year.
As maid of honour, do you really have time to be coordinating a whole event for your friends hen do - it’s not your expertise, the idea of a spreadsheet makes you want to run and the thought of having to spend hours trawling the internet for hen do ideas when you have so many other things to be doing makes you anxious. BUT you want to make it the most magical and memorable weekend for the hen, as she’s your best friend.
This is where I come in… having worked in the event industry for nearly a decade and an experienced yoga instructor I can help you plan your dream weekend for the girls.
Everything from venue searching, to activities, to catering - I can build a ‘Retreat Hen Do’ custom made for your group of gals and their budget. I have lots of ideas for hen do activities, including creative, relaxing, active and of course fun - you can pick and choose what suits.
Looking for a Hen Do Retreat Day near Bath, here’s an example of one I run at Manor Farm, Upton Cheyney, with the wonderful Wizz & Wild. Think glamping tents, floristry workshops, foraging walks, yoga and hearty food. Or how about a Long Weekend Hen Do Retreat in the beautiful seaside town of Salcombe, Devon. Think views out to sea, coastal walks, pub lunch, cosy yoga and massages.
In a world where time is so precious, being present with our friends and enjoying time together in nature is so reviving. Don’t worry, of course I’ll factor in a Prosecco or two and you can bring all the games you’d like! Finding that balance so you can walk away from the weekend having had belly laughs, moments to pause and deepened friendship connections.

So if you’re planning a hen do in Bath or anywhere in England & Wales, get in touch and I can help take all the stress of organising away, providing a beautifully curated event for your hen and all her mates. Or if you know of someone that is planning a hen do, please do share this blog!
